Sinclair Digital has launched a smart LED lighting system with advanced controls and sensors, combining energy efficiency and safety with fault managed DC power and Power over Ethernet.  The new system, the first of a range of Digital Building Infrastructure System products called Agile-Core, is designed to be modular, resilient, and easy to connect. It is currently being installed in a 400,000 automated warehouse in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area.

The Agile-Core lighting system combines Digital Electricity with Power over Ethernet to provide an easy to operate data driven lighting and IoT sensor system. The system leverages DC power and uses significantly less copper by eliminating line voltage AC power distribution.  With the combination of DE and PoE, power and data can be provided over PoE at significant distances for large-scale projects such as data centres, automated warehouses, lithium refining factories, large buildings, and campuses.

Agile-Core is currently being deployed at a 400,000+ square foot automated warehouse in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas area.  The solution was selected for its granularity of control, cost effectiveness, and energy savings. Also that it presents no risk of interfering with wirelessly communicating automated mobile machinery that are prevalent on site.
