Swedish IoT firm Wittra Networks is working with Swiss network management provider Loriot to deliver reliable and secure IoT services to clients worldwide.

The partnership combines Loriot’s distributed hybrid infrastructure and software platform with Wittra’s expertise in IoT to deliver scalable and comprehensive IoT services to clients across various industries.

Loriot’s hybrid network management system ensures enterprise-grade deployments for clients such as telcos, utilities, system integrators, local and city governments, blue-chip companies, and multinational organisations.

“We are excited to partner with Loriot, a company that shares our commitment to delivering enterprise-grade IoT that meets the highest quality standards,” said Hakan Dackefjord, CEO of Wittra Networks. “This partnership will enable us to expand our capabilities and offer our clients even more comprehensive IoT that meets their specific needs.”

Alan Rae, head of sales at Loriot, added: “The partnership between Wittra Networks and Loriot is set to bring world-class IoT to clients across various industries and allows us to further advance in our mission to help our customers generate real value through IoT.”

For on-site sensor and 3D location data, Wittra’s unified gateway combines a 6LoWPan mesh network with either LoRa or Mioty LPWAN radios to provide high volume, along with long-range connectivity options for wide area network coverage required for large-scale IoT deployments. The unified gateway can be connected to the cloud or on-premise computing resources via cabled Ethernet or cellular backhaul, with data secured via open and secure standards (HTTPS and DTLS).

The partnership is set to drive mass IoT adoption and enable organisations worldwide to leverage the power of IoT to transform their businesses.

Wittra Networks is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and offers scalable and comprehensive IoT to clients across various industries, combining expertise in IoT with a 6LoWPan mesh network and LPWAN radios to provide high-volume, long-range connectivity.

Loriot was founded in Switzerland in 2015. Its core product is software for scalable, distributed, resilient operation of hybrid LoRaWan and Mioty networks and end-to-end applications, offered under various business models.
