Schneider Electric has launched EcoStruxure Plant Lean Management, a digital solution that collects and aggregates data across industrial operations. The system provides key performance indicators (KPIs) for short interval management (SIM) meetings. Shop floor teams use these KPIs to review production cycles and identify issues and actions that need to be implemented.

EcoStruxure Plant Lean Management is designed to provide a user-friendly collaborative interface that digitises and optimises SIM meeting cycles across one or multiple sites.

It automatically collects the relevant Information Technology and Operational Technology data for KPIs on productivity, service levels, quality, safety, and sustainability with real-time access to on-site or remote data. Users can visualise issues in real time and digitally track preventative and corrective actions until fully resolved.

The open platform, which can be implemented on any hardware, integrates with AVEVA Data Hub. This is a solution that aggregates and stores very large quantities of real-time data generated by IIoT devices.

EcoStruxure Plant Lean Management technology is already used by more than 70,000 operators in many of Schneider Electric’s own smart factories. These have shown improved operational efficiency by up to 5%, continuous improvement with a 33% reduction in shift handover activities and three times faster issue resolution.
