Digi’s SmartSense IoT division has announced Safetemps, a scalable and cost-effective 10s health screener to bolster employee safety as businesses reopen amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

Safetemps includes configurable digital questionnaires and touchless infra-red thermometers with results captured in enterprise reporting tools, thus helping organisations protect the health of their employees and roll up information across locations and geographies to understand the health of their workforce and impact on their business.

The goal is to help businesses reopen during the Covid-19 outbreak by letting organisations implement a simple health screening process that identifies potentially sick employees in just ten seconds via a configurable digital questionnaire and touchless infra-red thermometer.

Safetemps is designed for any company looking to make informed, data-driven decisions about their workforce and operations in real time. All via a single, easy-to-use IoT product, executives can track percentage of employees screened and admitted from single locations to across multiple geographies worldwide; personnel departments can account for employees who are in self-quarantine or have been asked to work remotely; and direct managers can know the wellness of their shift workers.

The Safetemps digital employee health screener – which includes digital checklists, enterprise reporting tools and the option for touchless infra-red thermometers – will be available from the start of next month.
