Spacewell and TCM partner on smart buildings

Belgian smart building company Spacewell has announced a partnership with UK firm TCM IP Services to create a more sustainable, efficient, and intelligent built environments.

The partnership’s focus will be on enhancing user experiences through data-driven insights, optimising energy consumption and promoting sustainability. By combining their strengths, Spacewell and TCM aim to provide building owners, facility managers and occupants with seamless, intuitive and secure ways to make informed decisions and streamline operations.

TCM IP Services was established deliver infrastructure for IT and communications systems and premises. Its products are based on the deployment of IP-based technologies, whether for a new network to support rapid digital transformation, or facilities to host face-to-face or hybrid meetings.

It specialises in providing end-to-end managed projects and services, but can also deliver various aspects of larger projects, depending on the circumstances and application.

With the IT and smart buildings market continuing to converge, he said there was an ever-growing number of stakeholders within these projects.

TCM’s offerings exist on the CNS (common network system) and it undergoes regular penetration testing and is compliant with ISO 27001.

Spacewell is part of the Nemetschek group, a publicly-listed strategic holding company whose operating subsidiaries employ around 3500 people around the world. The group’s software enables lifecycle management of buildings through integrating the processes of designing, constructing and operating a facility.
