IoT Security: New Technologies and New Regulations

Date March 19, 2020
Time 11am ET

Event Detail

New IoT security regulations calling for connected devices to be equipped with unique passwords have been introduced since September 2019 in California and the UK. The UK law also dictates buyers be notified of time required for patching or updating of devices for security purposes. Coupled with GDPR requirements in Europe, how these new regs will impact IoT deployments, such as protocols for OTA provisioning, etc.?

New security technologies such as biometrics, blockchain, SIM as a Root of Trust, will also be discussed. What are the new opportunities for enterprises there to protect the end-to-end IoT solutions? This webinar will explore these issues and solutions and more surrounding IoT security.
