Vusion digitalises Netto stores

Danish discount chain Netto has selected French company Vusion Group to digitalise its 550 stores.

The company has become the latest Salling Group chain to adopt Vusion’s technology following Fotex’s and Bilka’s rollouts of its smart digital labels.

Salling Group, a partner of Vusion Group for more than 15 years, will deploy SES Imagotag’s smart digital labels (www.vusion.com/solutions/sesimagotag) and the Vusion cloud platform across its 550 Netto locations between this autumn and spring next year.

As such, Netto (netto.dk) should have the ability to provide a better customer experience throughout its stores by displaying vibrant product information, promotions and branding elements. Shoppers will benefit from clear communication of Netto’s offerings, including its signature yellow brand colour and organic OGO product line, allowing shoppers to find what they are looking for easily.

Vusion’s cloud will also let Netto remotely manage and update shelf labels, ensuring price accuracy and efficient promotion execution across all stores in a secure environment. Additionally, the rollout will leverage the existing Cisco Meraki wifi infrastructure, allowing for faster deployment and reduced carbon footprint.

Vusion’s technology should also eliminate the need for manual label printing and replacements, freeing up time for shop assistants to focus on customer service.
