Thai retail technology firm Trollee has launched a proof of concept (PoC) with Jaya Grocer, a Malaysian supermarket chain known for its fresh produce and quality household goods.

Starting last month, the partnership has introduced Trollee P2 smart cart technology to select Jaya Grocer outlets.

Designed to enhance the shopping experience, Trollee P2 offers a seamless scan, pay and go process, streamlining checkout and reducing wait times. Its digital display provides real-time promotions, creating an engaging and interactive in-store environment. Additionally, the smart cart includes in-store navigation and route planning, helping shoppers locate products.

The collaboration aims to reshape grocery shopping in Malaysia and sets a precedent for broader adoption of smart cart technology across the region, underscoring a shared commitment to embracing technological advancements for more seamless and efficient shopping.
