Taiwanese IoT firm Advantech has launched a 54.6cm all-in-one touch computer for applications in smart retail, interactive kiosks and self-service terminals.

The UTC-320SL is designed for versatility, serviceability and performance scalability, has an enhanced mechanical structure, socket-type Intel 14th-generation Core processors, and system integration options.

Housed in a black plastic exterior, its modern and compact form factor balances aesthetics with functionality. Its design features a simplified panel mounting process that reduces installation time while ensuring a secure fit.

Additionally, it comes with a standard Din four-pin power connector and offers an optional terminal block connector for specialised applications. To enhance installation flexibility, it provides two power button options: a visible power button and an externally routed button, making it suitable for embedded systems or kiosk integrations.

Powered by socket-type Intel Core processors ranging from the 12th to the 14th generation, the UTC-320SL delivers performance and cost efficiency. The 14th-generation processor architecture integrates high-performance cores with energy-efficient cores, offering up to 61% improved performance compared with the previous generation. Its broad CPU compatibility allows businesses to select from a range of performance tiers based on application requirements and budget, providing scalability and investment protection. The system supports Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring broad compatibility with existing IT ecosystems.

Designed for deployment in diverse environments, the computer provides fan and fanless thermal options. The fanless version operates quietly and reliably in dusty or high-temperature environments, with an operational threshold of up to +45˚C. For settings with active airflow, the fan-based model maintains the same temperature tolerance while providing efficient cooling for extended uptime, and this SKU also features lighter weight.

To support channel business and streamline inventory management, it allows memory, storage and peripheral modules to be installed at the point of order, reducing the number of pre-built SKUs required and enabling HQ to stock only barebone units. Easy-to-remove rear covers also simplify on-site maintenance and service, allowing field technicians to swap out key components such as the CPU, mainboard or memory.

Features include IP65-rated front panel for water and dust resistance, Vesa 100mm standard mounting holes for varied mounting demands, and detachable frame design for panel mount applications. It supports DeviceOn and iService software for remote device management, and TPM 2.0.
