Carrier Transicold, in collaboration with Irish IoT and wireless technology provider Net Feasa, has launched IoTPass, a dry container telematics offering that extends asset monitoring capabilities beyond refrigerated units.

Fully integrated with the Lynx Fleet platform, IoTPass allows seamless tracking of dry and refrigerated containers within one ecosystem and expands Florida-based Carrier Transicold’s digital offerings, enabling more connected intermodal supply chains.

Dry container telematics is a large and growing segment and an important adjacency to the refrigerated container telematics space, in which Lynx Fleet (www.carrier.com/truck-trailer/en/eu/service-support/LYNX_fleet) has demonstrated success.

The device operates across cellular networks, with LoRa and satellite as fallback options, ensuring continuous data flow and alert notifications even in areas with limited cellular coverage.

A patent-pending snap-spin-secure mechanism allows quick installation using only one rivet, reducing set-up time and costs.

Battery life is more than ten years, enhanced by solar-harvesting capabilities, ensuring long-term functionality with little maintenance.
