Seattle-based Grydd, a provider of AI-powered supply chain and logistics software, has unveiled a suite of AI applications including demand planning, route prediction, cargo optimisation, sustainability and a collaboration hub.

Leveraging machine-learning techniques alongside massive shipment data, the software should increase visibility and control for users. Each module is unique in function:

  • Demand planning: AI draws on historical sales trends, events and external factors to generate accurate 30 to 90 day demand forecasts.
  • Route prediction: AI evaluates complex variables to propose the fastest, lowest cost routes for each load based on real-time conditions.
  • Date quality monitoring: AI enables monitoring of databases for unusual or faulty behaviour increasing the capabilities of the ecosystem.
  • Cargo optimisation: AI employs deep reinforcement learning to increase truck capacity and container use, reducing waste across all modes of transport.
  • Sustainability: AI provides carbon impact estimates and alternative green routes, empowering organisations to lower emissions in line with ESG goals.

Through the collaboration hub AI, partners in the extended supply chain can leverage shared intelligence to solve problems collaboratively, replan as needed and track performance metrics on one dashboard.

“We’re thrilled to offer this quantum leap for support chain visibility, control and sustainability through our new Grydd AI suite,” said Grydd CEO Dan Acosta. “The results will utterly transform supply chain planning and operations for companies worldwide.”

With this announcement, Grydd says it is setting a standard for what an intelligent supply chain OS can achieve. Through a shared architecture that blends agent-based learning with deep neural networks, users can leverage one platform to coordinate every element of planning, execution and performance tracking across complex global logistics ecosystems.

Grydd (www.grydd.com) says it has a mission to create the most interactive, AI enabled, integrated supply chain and logistics software. It connects all processes, systems and people through technology as an extension of human behaviour. It tracks and traces ocean, air and land transactions, giving better data visibility and improving the decision-making process.
