FedEx and Freightos partner on freight digitisation

Hong Kong-based Freightos Group is working with FedEx Logistics to improve global freight digitisation. Freightos will supply its WebCargo technology to digitise FedEx Logistics, while FedEx will provide digitised customs brokerage services for importers on the marketplace.
The agreement will span internal sales digitisation for FedEx Logistics and digital customs brokerage on, the world’s largest online freight marketplace.
FedEx will carry out a global rollout of WebCargo’s AcceleRate, a multi-modal rate management and sales digitisation platform, and WebCargo Air, the air cargo pricing, quoting and ebooking platform.
Together, this enables instant global freight pricing for FedEx Logistics users globally, improving customer service and internal efficiencies.
In addition, will incorporate the digital customs brokerage services that FedEx Trade Networks offers to enable smoother international trade for the more than 150,000 global importers and exporters registered on the shipping marketplace.

The on-demand customs brokerage provided by FedEx Trade Networks will augment’s one-stop offering of instant price comparison, booking and management across more than 75 leading global logistics providers.
