Netmore acquires Arson Metering

Swedish Massive IoT network operator Netmore has acquired Spanish remote meter reading specialist Arson Metering. The acquisition will strengthen Netmore’s position in the utility modernisation market, and expand its presence among European municipal utilities.

Arson Metering specialises in advanced remote reading technologies. The company has deployments across more than 200 municipalities in Spain, Italy, France, and Greece. It manages over 500,000 water and gas meters and has a backlog of approximately 350,000 meters. The company’s expertise in AMI and its advanced Meter Operations Centre will strengthen Netmore’s ability to deliver against strict service levels required by utilities to meet regulatory and environmental goals.
