Lighting and energy tech developer LEDVANCE has launched a Level 2 EV charger for home use. The PHASE EV 48 Amp Residential Charger can charge electric vehicles up to 42 miles (67.5 km) of range per hour of charge. With 11.5kW of maximum output, it is claimed as one of the most powerful residential EV chargers on the market.

The charger has built-in WiFi and is compatible with the SYLVANIA WiFi App. This allows homeowners to monitor and control their charging stations remotely.

It incorporates an SAE J1772 universal charging connector that is compatible with most electric vehicles on the market. In addition to the built-in WiFi (802.11 b/g/n/2.4GHz) with app control, it also provides Plug & Charge settings for app free operation, and incorporates a dynamic LED that shows charger status.
