Israeli firm Friendly Technologies is working with several system integration companies to manage IoT-enabled utility meters globally.

Alongside the recent upgrade to Friendly IoT version 6.3.0 for telcos and IoT enterprises worldwide, Friendly Technologies will now manage tens of millions of IoT-enabled smart meters for water, gas and heating utilities.

Version 6.3.0 helps Friendly users introduce projects and verticals more easily. The added application enablement platform combined with the firm’s One-IoT device management software helps organisations manage devices, collect and analyse data and implement automated workflows. Users can manage integrations, multi-tenancies and access control, and create dashboards and more.

The E2E device management platform has scalability, as well as the capability to be deployed on-cloud or on-premise.

Friendly Technologies began its journey in 1997 and has more than 250 active customers worldwide. These include tier-one telecommunication and IoT-enabled businesses that use its IoT device management platform to provision, manage and monitor their devices.

The company is an active member of the Broadband Forum and the Open Mobile Alliance.

In addition to provisioning, management and monitoring of devices, the IoT management platform comes with security features and integrations with third-party tools, such as Microsoft Azure IoT.
