Taiwanese IoT power management firm Delta is working with EDF subsidiary Izivia to provide the French EV market with a charging infrastructure.

By combining Delta’s technology with Izivia’s network, the collaboration aims to address the growing demands of EV drivers and support France’s transition to sustainable transportation.

“Izivia is excited about its partnership with Delta,” said Christelle Vives, CEO of Izivia. “As the market leader in France with strong ambitions in the public ultra-fast charging sector, we aim to offer our customers high-quality service. We take particular care in choosing reliable chargers and responsive partners to ensure that their equipment keeps pace with technological developments and customer expectations. Delta’s teams are committed to working alongside us to provide the best charging experience for our customers over the long term. We are particularly happy to test new innovations with Delta, such as plug and charge and new services for truck charging.”

Delta’s UFC150 and UFC200 Ultra Fast EV chargers are being deployed at McDonald’s restaurants in France, as part of the Izivia fast-charging network, a project jointly funded by Morrison, Credit Mutuel Impact, EDF and Izivia.

“Supporting the transition to cleaner mobility is at the heart of our ambition to contribute to a CO2-neutral future,” said Vives.

Vincent Lin, vice president for Delta in Emea (www.delta-emea.com), added: “We are thrilled to cooperate with Izivia to further e-mobility in France. Our leadership in EV charging is demonstrated by the more than three million EV chargers that Delta has shipped to customers worldwide over the past 15 years. By integrating Delta’s strengths with Izivia’s extensive network and expertise, we are confident in providing an unparalleled charging experience for EV drivers across France.”

Izivia is a prominent figure in electric mobility in France. The company offers charging for electric vehicles, catering to local authorities and companies. Its expertise spans the supply and installation of charging stations, supervision and maintenance of infrastructures, and a range of service offerings. Additionally, it invests in its own public charging stations, located in areas such as supermarket parking lots and restaurants. As an e-mobility service provider, the firm offers an application and charging card that grants access to 300,000 charging points across France and Europe.

As a specialist in EV charging infrastructure, Delta offers a portfolio for residential, commercial, destination, and public and fleet charging applications. Delta’s scalable offerings simplify the process of planning, installing and managing charging infrastructure, ensuring they meet the needs of EV drivers while mitigating the impact on the grid.
