Canadian cognitive computing and AI firm VERSES AI is partnering edge computing and smart sensor specialist Analog to implement smart city projects for Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi has published a strategy to develop smart city infrastructure as part of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. This includes the development of two entire smart cities, the Masdar City Smart City and the Zayed Smart City.

Employing VERSES’ Genius platform, these initiatives will focus on key sectors such as urban smart mobility, healthcare, and energy, in collaboration with UAE industry stakeholders.

The projects are expected to be developed and showcased in 2024.
