Ubicquia has introduced a suite of next-generation street lighting solutions to help utilities and municipalities modernise their street light networks.

The new offering includes the UbiCell Micro universal street light controller, enhancements to the UbiVu management platform, and the introduction of UbiScout AI video accessory. The UbiCell Micro is a compact controller that can be used with various types of street lights and is designed to meet stringent utility standards for metering, surge protection, and power quality.

UbiVu has been upgraded to support native integration with third-party sensors, work-order management, inventory management, and a redesigned web interface for outage reporting. The platform allows cities and utilities to enhance asset management, streamline workflows, and reduce operational expenses.

UbiScout is an AI video accessory that provides adaptive lighting, traffic analytics, and curb management capabilities. It enables cities to optimise lighting levels based on real-time data on pedestrian and vehicle activity.

The new solutions are designed to be simple to deploy and manage, with the goal of improving operational and energy efficiency for utilities and municipalities.

Ubicquia’s platforms are designed to make existing critical infrastructure intelligent, increasing grid resiliency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance operational efficiencies. The company’s solutions are deployed in over 1,000 utilities and municipalities worldwide.
