SCC expands Digital Twin partnership

The Smart Cities Council is expanding its partnership with the Digital Twin Consortium. This follows increasing interest and uptake of digital twins by cities to plan and manage smart city applications.

The collaboration will focus on a number of smart city areas, including airports, intelligent transportation hubs, tourism, regional communities, indigenous communities, healthcare, aged and long term care, intelligent buildings and urban infrastructure.

The Smart Cities Council is committed to building cross-sector capability, capacity and collaboration. It operates in thirty countries and is headquartered in Washington DC.

The Digital Twin Consortium aims to drive the adoption, interoperability, and development of digital twin technology. It is part of the Object Management Group.
