Urban transport data specialist Iteris has launched a new traffic management system. VantageCare is designed to help cities optimise traffic detection technologies to manage busy road junctions.

The new system is available as a cloud-enabled managed service. It is structured into three distinct plans: Standard, Maintenance Assist, and Performance Assist. Each plan offers increasing levels of support and features for traffic intersection management.

All Vantage detection customers have been enrolled in the Standard plan of VantageCare. Cities will also have the choice to upgrade to Maintenance Assist or Performance Assist. This will allow them to access data, software, and connectivity for enhanced support for proactive maintenance and improved operations.

VantageCare is compatible with Iteris’ Vantage Next, Vantage Apex and VantageRadius detection systems. It is designed to be key to Iteris’ ClearMobility Platform, a solution for continuous road and traffic monitoring. The ClearMobility Platform employs cloud computing, AI, sensors and managed services to improve urban mobility.
