Traffic management startup D2 Traffic Technologies has emerged from stealth with products that offer AI-powered tools for traffic and city management. The aim is to integrate current smart city tech with cities’ traffic management infrastructure. The company is working in product areas including license plate recognition, vehicle occupancy assessment, and smart crosswalks.
A subsidiary of Jogan Inc, D2 Traffic has formed partnerships with Omniflow, Macq, Innovusion, In-vision, and Zitek Corporation.
“We’ve assembled a team of professionals with proven and varied backgrounds in traffic and transportation. Where there is opportunity, there is always challenge,” said Dan Dantriech, D2 Traffic founder and CEO. “But we genuinely believe there is huge potential here. We can design the blueprint of the modern smart city with these technologies.”
“This new initiative provides us with a chance to bring tech that is proven in other markets to the American traffic industry,” said Eric Gannaway, D2 Traffic Director of Traffic. “It’s the best way to innovate and continue making roads safer, and that will always be the core mission at D2.”
