Global cloud platform service provider Tuva Smart, has announced two partnerships in Asia with the intent to advance integration of technologies such as AI into the smart home market. In Indonesia, Tuya Smart will work with solution provider V2 Indonesia to take advantage of opportunities in that country’s smart home market. The company has also partnered with AiTAN to create a smart living experience for commercial developers and household users across Thailand and broader Southeast Asia.
V2 Indonesia combines automation technology and digital reality for various industries, including private enterprises and government agencies. Indonesia has one of the highest proportions of young people with about 58 percent of its population of 274 million in the youth demographic. This youth segment has exhibited acceptance for new products such as smart electronics, which has spurred the demand for smart homes and related offerings in the Indonesian market. Recent reports show rapid growth in the Indonesian smart home market, with a forecasted CAGR of more than 20 percent in the next three years.
To capitalize on this market, V2 Indonesia claims it is committed to creating smart home products that cater to evolving consumer needs. The company has recognized that the integration of intelligent technologies like AI and IoT holds commercial potential for the smart home industry as these technologies can streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and minimize operational costs.
V2 Indonesia said this is why it has chosen to partner with Tuya Smart, to use its Smart House & Real Estate SaaS to establish a smart home ecosystem. The goal of this collaboration is to provide customers and consumers with a more convenient, intelligent, and personalized smart home living experience. The company claims it will reduce the time and cost for customers.
Tuya’s OEM SaaS services have provided V2 Indonesia with a set of connectivity tools that include a product control system, intelligent scene design capabilities, efficient batch delivery tools, an operations and maintenance knowledgebase, online fault diagnosis, and streamlined work order services. With the incorporation of Tuya’s GenAI technology, V2 Indonesia’s virtual assistant, ViVi, can engage in dialogue and interactions with users via voice commands to operate smart products in their homes.
IoT technology provider AiTAN’s portfolio of services spans smart homes, security, hotels, lighting, buildings, and real estate. The company’s core focus is on delivering application, software, and hardware development services that empower various industries to achieve efficiency gains and enrich users’ smart lifestyles.
Thailand’s real estate market has recently exhibited growth, with housing prices reaching new heights and presenting opportunities for developers. Thailand’s real estate market expanded by 95.8 percent year-on-year in Q4 of 2023.
