Service provider Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN) is integrating TP-Link’s Aginet platform to enable real-time remote network management for home wifi.
Chinese firm TP-Link is a provider of consumer and business networking products. It has joined forces with HKBN to launch the Priority Plus home wifi offering, the first in Asia to integrate the Aginet network management platform. It combines HKBN’s fibre broadband and wifi with dedicated one-stop service support.
Priority Plus features the Aginet series routers and their intelligent TAUC unified cloud system, which lets Aginet proactively monitor the users’ wifi network performance. In the event of network abnormalities, remote diagnosis and correction are carried out immediately, eliminating the need for on-site inspection.
This seamless cloud offering enables HKBN to achieve zero-contact deployment and remote management of internet and wifi services, ensuring users can enjoy a stable, smooth and hassle-free network experience.
The Aginet series includes Wifi 7 routers, mesh wifi devices, 5G+ fibre broadband routers and cyber-security systems. HKBN plans to introduce more Aginet products.
Priority Plus (www.hkbn.net/personal/wifi6router/en/priorityplus-series) home wifi includes home broadband, Aginet AX6000 router and one-stop wifi support. Each package includes professional installation service, round-the-clock technical support and, during the contract period, HKBN’s experts will promptly arrange on-site router replacement should any issues arise.
Headquartered in Hong Kong with operations spanning across Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China, HKBN (www.hkbn.net) is an integrated telecommunications and technology services provider. The group provides one-stop ICT offerings. Its tri-carrier fibre infrastructure covers over 2.55 million residential homes and 8100 commercial buildings and facilities across Hong Kong.
TP-Link (www.tp-link.com/zh-hk) has become the first Wifi 7 and Wifi 6E router brand in Hong Kong. It is a professional network equipment and smart-home product brand that provides services and technical support to more than 170 countries and billions of people around the world.
