Wirelesss connectivity specialist Kajeet has launched a Private 5G hosting platform to bridge gaps in in-building cellular coverage and capacity. Kajeets’ Smart Private 5G Neutral Host Network Platform is designed to provide improved cellular networking for in-building mobile users, property operators and mobile network operators. It is aimed at building environments that include office buildings, college campuses, retail areas, event venues and hospitals.

The solution is able to provide customised private networks for specific use cases. Customers can deploy private 5G network within their premises tailored to their particular business needs.

Leveraging the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) spectrum, Kajeet optimises performance for multiple users connecting concurrently without compromising quality. This dynamic spectrum utilisation allows integration of devices and systems from IoT applications to smart building technologies.

Kajeet’s solution is designed to be future proof, accommodating upcoming technologies and standards. The solution is designed to provide expanded coverage without the financial burden associated with traditional Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Neutral Host solutions.

The Kajeet Smart Private 5G Neutral Host Network Platform comprises four components:

• 4G and 5G Core Network: The underlying technology infrastructure for the private network, offering high-performance and low-latency connectivity.
• 4G and 5G Multivendor RAN & Radios: A comprehensive solution for deploying and managing the Radio Access Network (RAN) and radios, supporting multiple vendors and technologies.
