Missouri-based Ivani and New York firm MHT Lighting are working together to improve smart building technology.

This involves the integration of MHT Lighting’s Inspextor PoE light management software with Ivani’s real-time location services (RTLS).

MHT Lighting is established in power over Ethernet (PoE) light management systems for the healthcare, residential and commercial spaces. Ivani provides occupancy sensing data. The integration of its intelligent sensor array (ISA) and RTLS with Inspextor should provide MHT’s users with enhanced experience, increased functionality, reduced energy consumption and money savings.

“MHT Lighting has a reputation for delivering quality and innovation,” said Ivani CEO Justin McKinney. “We’re excited to be a part of their partner ecosystem and offer their customers the most advanced occupancy sensing and RTLS in the industry. The Inspextor system provides an ideal data highway for the types of data we can provide building systems and the end user.”

Using Ivani’s ISA technology, the Inspextor system provides multiple data types to enable an intelligent building. These include space use data, RTLS for things or people, basic PIR motion sensing, temperature sensing, humidity sensing, light levels, and occupancy sensing through future software updates.

Ivani specialises in RF sensing technology. Through NPS and RTLS offerings, it delivers presence analytics, enabling intelligent buildings while respecting user privacy.

MHT Lighting is a pioneer in lighting technology and PoE software development. For over a decade, its patented Inspextor lighting platform has helped clients all over the world reduce their energy consumption and integrate automation into smart building designs. It provides real-time data and control over lighting and other BMS systems.
