AI cloud platform Tuya Smart has integrated the DeepSeek large language model into its AIoT platform, helping developers create a new generation of smart home management robots.

By integrating DeepSeek, the Tuya AIoT platform enables features such as bio-level interaction and cognitive enhancement, accurately capturing and responding to user commands. Tuya suggests this will create “personal butlers,” offering users a personalised home lifestyle.

Tuya and DeepSeek have collaborated to research the future of home management robot products. They believe that future robots will acquire full-domain reasoning. They will learn user habits, including wake-up time, favourite games, or patterns unnoticed by users. They will no longer be limited to specific scenarios but will learn and observe the entire home environment.

The two companies believe that robots will transform into trusted friends. They will become highly anthropomorphic family butlers that possess self-awareness and emotions to understand and respond to human emotions.

They will also become a “Family Agent”, guarding family safety. They will play a particular role in safeguarding the elderly and children.

Integration of large language models and AIoT platforms opens the way for home management robots to transform from single functional roles into more all round roles.
