Taiwanese power management firm Delta introduced its DIBT intelligent building technologies at this week’s AHR Expo in Florida.
DIBT is a unified platform of smart and energy-saving options for intelligent and sustainable buildings in North America. It integrates the expertise and technologies of the Delta brands Amerlux for architectural LED lighting, Delta Controls and Loytec for building automation, as well as Delta’s own indoor air quality (IAQ) offerings, to enable intelligent, energy-efficient, safe and comfortable buildings.
“The establishment of DIBT reflects our commitment to addressing evolving priorities in the North American building sector, where sustainability, energy efficiency and smart technologies take centre stage,” said Chuck Campagna, CEO for DIBT. “At AHR Expo, we are excited to showcase a seamlessly-integrated portfolio of tailored options that help businesses play a vital role in the global pursuit of net-zero goals and in the creation of smart cities by enhancing the energy management and efficiency, indoor air quality, security and comfort of their building assets.”
Visitors to Delta’s stand explored three immersive zones featuring products tailored for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Demonstrations in the commercial zone included integrated systems with occupancy-driven HVAC and lighting for optimised space use and energy efficiency, smart room controls with visualisations for a better user experience, multi-factor access control and AI-powered security to ensure the safety of people and assets, and real-time monitoring of indoor environments, energy usage and equipment performance to drive operational and energy efficiency.
In the industrial zone were products designed to enhance HVACR equipment performance, energy efficiency and system integration. These include remote monitoring, fluid systems and components designed to optimise HVACR operations across industries.
The residential zone included indoor air quality products combining comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability.
