Vodafone IoT and Simetric are combining their IoT platforms to create a single-pane-of-glass overview for their customers’ IoT estates.

Vodafone’s GDSP managed connectivity will integrate with Simetric’s platform (simetric.com/platform) to deliver real-time visibility, control and automation across IoT estates from various network partners.

With analysts predicting that the number of cellular IoT connections will treble over the next ten years, businesses are looking for a simpler way to oversee the breadth of their IoT connectivity service, whether it’s on a national or international scale. As users expand their use of IoT and accumulate multiple agreements for a diverse range of products from various providers around the world, the collaboration means they can have one unified view, bringing all these arrangements together into a single platform.

Vodafone IoT’s secure and reliable connectivity is available to users in more than 180 countries worldwide, with over 760 networks to choose from. This partnership will give Vodafone IoT customers even more flexibility to tailor their IoT operations to suit their needs by bringing additional connectivity partners under one roof, whether they’re private or public sector, small or large business.

Furthermore, the single-pane-of-glass lets them see all Vodafone IoT’s network technologies (such as 4G, 5G, LPWA, satellite) and SIM technology (classic SIM, iSIM, eSIM, as well as new GSMA SGP.32 standards) through the platform.

Georgia, USA, based Simetric integrates its platform functionality for all device provisioning and orchestration, unifying a complete workflow control for all IoT and edge devices across networks.
