Qualcomm is bringing together its industrial and embedded IoT, networking and cellular infrastructure products under the brand name Dragonwing.

AI, high-performance, low-power computing and connectivity are built into Dragonwing custom hardware, software and service offerings designed for speed, scalability and reliability. With these products, companies should be able to unlock smarter decision-making, increased operational efficiency and faster time-to-market. This is crucial for industries such as energy and utilities, retail, supply chain, manufacturing and telecoms, enabling businesses to expand into new opportunities, extend their competitive edge and win in evolving markets.

“Our mission is to deliver intelligent computing everywhere,” said Qualcomm senior vice president Don McGuire in a blog post (www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/2025/02/unveiling-the-qualcomm-dragonwing-brand-portfolio). “We have an amazing suite of products and, while you may be familiar with the Snapdragon brand portfolio, you may not know that we have a whole suite of products outside of Snapdragon. We thought it was time to bring a unique identity to this product portfolio and clearly articulate the value proposition for customers. It’s my pleasure to introduce Qualcomm Dragonwing, a new brand portfolio that marks a significant step in our journey to empower businesses to scale to new heights.”

From industrial robots to cameras, to industrial handhelds and drones, and more, this portfolio, he said, deserved a brand identity worthy of the technology innovation delivered across categories.

“Dragonwing, however, isn’t just a name; it’s our promise to drive transformation and elevate industry growth,” he said. “In a world where companies face the daunting challenge of transforming and growing with new technologies and digital systems, the Dragonwing portfolio empowers company growth, productivity and competitiveness, at a global scale.”

The name Dragonwing and its stylised dragon icon are said to symbolise ascension, power and acceleration. The brand’s colour palette includes an influential purple, which fuses Qualcomm blue and Snapdragon bold red.

“Together, Dragonwing and Snapdragon create a strong, purpose-built portfolio, strengthening our leadership in both consumer and industrial segments,” said McGuire. “We know the future of technology because we create it. With Dragonwing, we help businesses take a leap and accelerate their digital transformation with speed and confidence.”
