Minnesota-based MultiTech Systems, a supplier of IoT devices and services, has announced the availability of Reveal long-range wireless sensors for the IoT.

Originally designed and manufactured by recently acquired RadioBridge, the sensors use the LoRaWan wireless standard and are all engineered for long-range, low cost and extended battery life applications.

The sensors are designed with an open architecture for flexible integration, and an optional web-based console for provisioning, monitoring and configuration of the sensors in the field. Custom design is also available with the goal of achieving seamless sensor-to-cloud offerings for a variety of applications.

With the addition of the sensor line, MultiTech can now provide everything from sensors, to embedded communications devices, modems and gateways, cloud connectivity and device management services, as well as custom design and application development.

“OEMs, system integrators and solution providers now have a simplified path to develop and deploy new connected solutions,” said Stefan Lindvall, CEO of MultiTech. “We are very proud to offer the world’s most comprehensive LoRaWan-based sensor to cloud portfolio of products and look forward to continuing our commitment to help businesses leverage the true power of IoT within their industries.”

MultiTech products connect companies to their assets, leveraging proven, standards-based sensor and communications technologies and open architectures for systems and processes. The company provides technical support and partners with its customers to overcome IoT integration challenges with off-the-shelf and custom products tailored to meet needs.

Its US and global manufacturing operations give it the agility and flexibility to develop and manufacture connected devices optimised for performance and value.

MultiTech has joined forces with Megh Computing to deliver comprehensive, actionable video analytics over private LTE for safe, healthy workplaces; traffic and occupancy management; and access control.

Connecting video equipment to Megh Computing’s on-premise and cloud hosted video AI analytics over a secure private OnGo CBRS network with a MultiTech MultiConnect eCell CBRS-to-Ethernet bridge enables the generation of actionable insights for protection of people and assets to reduce risk and optimise processes in warehousing and distribution centres, manufacturing and processing plants, transit hubs, smart offices, stadiums and shopping malls.
