KORE’s Developer Portal has won the M2M Innovation of the Year award in the sixth annual IoT awards programme conducted by market intelligence organisation IoT Breakthrough.

The portal gives access to all of KORE’s platform APIs in a single self-service location, providing secure, managed access to services in the KORE ecosystem. In the portal, users can access documented APIs with examples in multiple languages, live testing, self service capabilities such as IP whitelisting for enhanced security, the ability to stay up to date with all the latest updates to the APIs, and more.

Portal users can also invite other client owners or developers to collaborate on projects. APIs can be tested and downloaded from within the portal. Using standards and principals, the API endpoints return data about subscriptions, usage and more. There are also tutorials for getting started with using Postman, connectivity rules engine APIs and streaming APIs.

The mission of the awards programme is to recognise the innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the globe in a range of IoT categories, including industrial and enterprise IoT, smart city technology, connected home and home automation, and connected cars. This year’s programme attracted more than 3850 nominations from companies all over the world.
