Spanish IoT firm Ignion is to debut first-of-their-kind IoT components at next month’s Electronica show in Munich as part of its virtual antenna technology portfolio.

The Barcelona-based innovator in IoT antennas is gearing up for a major announcement at Electronica (electronica.de), taking place from November 12th to 15th. Attendees can expect a preview of versatile and compact multi-radio technology.

Said to be the firm’s most advanced virtual antenna design to date, it delivers multi-radio performance combining cellular, GNSS, wifi and Bluetooth LE into one compact component. Designed to provide seamless connectivity across diverse frequencies, it meets the demands of IoT applications where space and efficiency are crucial.

Full specifications will be released at the outset of the Electronica show, where the company will also reveal the results of a customer collaboration undertaken during the product’s development that enabled the creation of a datalogger for agricultural applications.

Ignion will also be exhibiting its range of other IoT virtual antennas and its Oxion (oxion.ai/created-by-ignion) cloud-based antenna integration platform.

Founded in Barcelona as an independent antenna product business in 2015, Ignion (www.ignion.io) has seen is virtual antenna technology embedded in more than 50 million IoT devices worldwide. The company has assembled an R&D and engineering team to make RF easier and more predictable using virtual antenna products and its AI-powered antenna integration platform.
