Google Cloud and T-Systems partner on managed services

Google Cloud and T-Systems have announced a partnership to deliver managed services including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to help enterprises digitally transform with the cloud.
 
Under the partnership, T-Systems will provide consulting services, migration support and managed services to enterprises leveraging Google Cloud capabilities.
 
“Our joint goal is to support organisations in their digitisation and to improve business processes with the cloud,” said Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of T-Systems. “This partnership is a core element of our strategy, generating value-add for our clients with managed cloud services.”
 
T-Systems will create a Google Cloud competence centre dedicated to helping enterprise users evaluate their business needs and build and implement custom cloud services to help address them. The competence centre will be staffed by business transformation experts at T-Systems, and will focus on areas such as large-scale workload migrations to the cloud, SAP application modernisation, development of AI and machine-learning products and services, as well as applications in data warehouse and data analytics in the cloud.

To start, the competence centre will focus on delivering services for key industries including manufacturing, automotive, logistics and the public sector.
