Focus Universal has developed four commercial IoT offerings in one month in response to customer requests.
The Ontario-based company provides patented hardware and software design technologies for the IoT, 5G and AI-driven automation
Using its Universal Smart IoT platform, the Focus team developed four commercial IoT offerings within one month:
- Aquaculture: Aquaculture is widely adopted worldwide. IoT integration improves fish farm production efficiency while reducing operational costs.
- Tequila and wine production: Tequila production plays a vital economic role in Mexico. This IoT offering provides real-time monitoring of the fermentation process, reducing labour requirements and production costs.
- Reverse osmosis: Reverse osmosis is a critical process in steel manufacturing. IoT enables central monitoring of thousands of units, eliminating manual data recording and improving operational efficiency.
- Hydroponics: Hydroponics is an agricultural technology. IoT adoption enables automated monitoring and control, enhancing productivity.
Traditionally, developing a single IoT offering may require multiple years of R&D and multimillion-dollar investments. In contrast, by adopting the Universal Smart IoT platform, Focus completed the four fully functional commercial IoT deployments in just one month.
By leveraging the platform, companies can save millions of dollars in development costs and several years of engineering time when designing and deploying new IoT products, says the company, which also provides customised IoT development services.
Focus will showcase its technologies at next week’s CES (www.ces.tech) in Las Vegas, highlighting innovations that demonstrate the power of Universal Smart IoT capabilities and AI-driven financial reporting automation. It will host meetings on stand 10371 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
At the show, Focus will demonstrate a 100% complete IoT system, integrating hundreds or even thousands of industrial sensors and cameras across multiple locations, including the USA and overseas. IoT administrators can log into their accounts to monitor and control devices worldwide, showcasing capabilities that surpass traditional IoT deployments.
Adding or removing sensors is as easy as installing an office phone. Building and expanding an IoT system becomes a straightforward task, rather than a complex research project. Unlike traditional IoT devices, where each sensor typically connects to a dedicated device, Universal Smart IoT allows multiple sensors to share a single device. This reduces hardware requirements and costs.
Focus Universal (focusuniversal.com) has developed five patented technology platforms with 28 patents and patents pending in various phases and eight trademarks pending to solve problems facing hardware and software design and production within the industry.
