Antenova has introduced a surface-mount design covering bands 863-870 MHz and 902 – 928 MHz, including LoRa, Sigfox, and Zigbee. It is designed for industrial, scientific and medical bands (ISM).

Gatun (SR42I110) is part of Antenova’s lamiiANT product group. It is manufactured with fibreglass material, meeting automotive temperature ratings.

It maintains 72.5% (ISM 863 MHz) and 11.9% (ISM 915 MHz) on PCB, and offers higher efficiency compared to older generation ISM antennas.

Gatun measures 26 x 7.6 x 3.1 mm. Antenna placement is in the left corner with clearance to the right side. Antenova offers an evaluation board (SR42I110-EVB-1) that measures 110.4 mm x 40.4 mm for testing. Gatun has higher efficiency on shorter length ground planes, making it suitable for small-sized IoT products.

Gatun (SR42I110) is designed for:

  • ISM (Industrial/Scientific/Medical) bands
  • Remote monitoring / Smart meters
  • Manufacturing automation (tape & reel)
  • Agriculture / Environment monitoring
  • Consumer tracking devicesgg
  • Smart Grid devices

UK based Antenova produces a broad range of standard antennas and RF modules for GSM, CDMA, 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G-NR, NB-IoT, GPS, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, LP-WAN, LoRa, Sigfox, Weightless-P, and ISM, for M2M and IoT applications.
