Indian intelligent engineering and technology company Cyient has signed a multiyear agreement with Airbus to enable connected cabin services and cargo engineering.

Airbus has selected Cyient to develop part of its iCMP intelligent core management platform for in-cabin use. These systems focus on enabling faster software updates, easy and rapid customisation, and proliferation of digital services in the cabin.

Cyient has been working with Airbus, supporting future-ready cabins to deliver services requiring the latest technologies and significant data flow volumes.

“We thank Airbus for their confidence in our capabilities and partnering to work on their key future technology development programmes,” said Karthikeyan Natarajan, CEO of Cyient. “Cyient is committed to growing this partnership with Airbus to greater heights. We look forward to leveraging our technology expertise to support Airbus in their pursuit of transforming in-flight communication and diagnostics systems.”
