Taiwanese AIoT firm Advantech has published an ebook that explores how intelligent bus technology is modernising public transportation across Europe.

The ebook outlines how data-driven technology and robust hardware platforms can help operators, OEMs and city planners address operational efficiency, passenger experience and regulatory compliance.

As transport systems evolve to meet sustainability targets and rising passenger expectations, the ebook provides a practical overview of the technologies enabling this transition, from real-time fleet monitoring and predictive maintenance to in-vehicle connectivity and automation. The release of the ebook follows Advantech’s recent membership in the ITxPT (Information Technology for Public Transport) Association, a European standard for promoting open IT specifications for public transport.
