Yokogawa Electric Corporation is partnering Korean digital twin platform TIM and has become a global value-added reseller for its industrial solution. The partnership strengthens Tokyo-based Yokogawa’s industrial digital transformation capabilities, with TIM’s 8D platform complementing Yokogawa’s digital twin portfolio.

Seoul-based TIM’s 8D is designed to be applied across different industries providing high-quality 3D visualisation with minimum resources.

Tokyo-based Yokogawa’s digital twin portfolio is broader-based than TIM’s, covering a spectrum from asset lifecycle, design and engineering to operation and maintenance.

TIM Solution’s digital twin platform is offered as a PaaS. Functioning as a universal digital twin platform, it can be applied in various fields to enhance manufacturing processes by integrating and simulating data from oil & gas, shipbuilding, aerospace, automotive, and other industries with respect to IT/OT and engineering technology. It is a specialised digital platform that, when coupled with Yokogawa asset management offerings such as OpreX Asset Health Insights, can provide customers with a single platform for the access and utilisation of company-wide data.
