Sustainable farming platform nurture.farm joins OpenAg Network

Indian digital farming platform nurture.farm has joined the OpenAg network as part of a drive to expand its operations. nurture.farm aims to promote Sustainable Agriculture, especially by supporting small-holders in moving to sustainable practices. The OpenAg network has been established by Indian farm equipment and chemicals firm UPL to promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Launched in early 2020, nurture.farm now supports over 1 million farmers and 50,000 retailers on its digital platform, with over 2.5 million acres of farmland serviced. The platform is being used across India, and several pilot projects are underway in other markets including the U.S., South Africa, Brazil and Australia.
