Tianneng Battery Group has selected Siemens Xcelerator to enable digital manufacturing in its new battery production. Among Xcelerator solutions Tianneng will leverage are Teamcenter software for Product Lifecycle Management, Opcenter software for Manufacturing Operations Management and Simcenter software for virtual simulation and test.

Tianneng plans on achieving a fully transparent closed-loop management across its entire manufacturing process, encompassing process management, plant management, logistics supply chain management and design R&D management.

Established in 1986, Tianneng is focused on power battery and energy storage battery sectors, specifically catering to electric light vehicles.

Siemens will provide technical support, application training, and after-market services.
