Italian IoT specialist SECO has ported its Clea IIoT infrastructure software to the Raspberry Pi OS platform. Users can now connect to a Clea instance through a streamlined setup process on Raspberry Pi OS. This is designed to allow industrial users to accelerate development and scale Industrial IoT infrastructure and applications.
The integration is a result of the partnership between SECO and Raspberry Pi signed in November 2024. The partnership is designed to break down barriers to deploying secure production-ready industrial IoT solutions. By joining forces, the two companies aim to enable industrial developers and system integrators to achieve faster time-to-market, simplify integration processes, and move rapidly from prototype to deployment.
The collaboration builds on the launch of SECO’s Pi Vision 10.1 CM5, a rugged HMI designed around Raspberry Pi’s Compute Module 5. This can now connect immediately to a Clea instance and provide operational insights.
“Industrial developers want to move fast without compromising reliability or security,” said Fausto Di Segni, SECO’s European Head of IoT and AI. “By making Clea available natively in Raspberry Pi OS, we’re removing friction from the development process and enabling a faster path to scalable, production-grade IoT solutions.”
