Orange Group subsidiary Business & Decision is collaborating with hybrid edge cloud specialist mimik Technology to accelerate adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. Business & Decision will incorporate mimik’s technology to deliver solutions to reduce latency and lower bandwidth consumption while improving data security for global clients in industries such as finance, and the public sector. The two companies are aiming to harness the full potential of 5G network speeds to accelerate clients’ digital transformation.

Building on mimik’s technology, Business & Decision clients should benefit from lower total cost of ownership because most workloads are offloaded to these devices and processed at the edge versus in the cloud.
