Denver-based Luxonis has released a new series of computer vision camera systems designed to perform high-speed AI inference tasks on device. The company has also launched Hub, a cloud platform that turns the camera systems into a complete computer vision platform.

The OAK 4 cameras line-up features four models, each equipped with a Qualcomm QCS8550 processor and running Yocto Linux OS. The devices offer 52 TOPS (tera operations per second) of AI inferencing capacity, a 40-fold increase from the previous generation.

OAK 4 includes various camera modules, such as stereo depth, RGB, IR dot projector, and IMU sensors, housed in an IP67-rated industrial chassis designed for harsh environments. The devices can be powered via USB or PoE.

In conjunction with the OAK 4 launch, Luxonis is introducing its cloud-based platform, Luxonis Hub. The platform enables device deployment, over-the-air updates, and monitoring, aiming to reduce model drift and improve AI accuracy at scale.

Pricing for the OAK 4 devices starts at $749 for the OAK 4 S and goes up to $949 for the OAK 4 D Pro. Luxonis Hub offers tiered plans with a free developer option available.
