Industrial AI software firm IFS has partnered 1X Technologies (1X) to integrate humanoid robotics with IFS’s industrial AI platform: IFS.ai. The collaboration aims to develop production-ready robotics solutions in asset-intensive industries such as manufacturing, utilities, and aviation.

The partnership combines 1X’s humanoid robots with IFS.ai to create a unified digital-physical operational environment. This integration enables the deployment of intelligent robots within enterprise business processes, allowing for real-time orchestration of robotic operations and seamless data flow between physical work and enterprise systems.

IFS will work with select customers to industrialize and validate humanoid robotics solutions across various use cases, including manufacturing automation, IoT-enabled robotics, field service automation, and vertical-specific applications. This approach aims to ensure that developed solutions are production-ready and deliver measurable operational outcomes.

The integrated solutions are expected to be showcased to IFS customers globally, with commercial availability planned for 2026.

The collaboration builds on IFS’s Industrial AI strategy, which includes recent acquisitions and innovation initiatives aimed at delivering agentic AI capabilities across customer operations.
