Grid Dynamics has launched a platform for industrial data analytics. The IoT Control Tower continuously analyses IoT data from production facilities and field deployments. Prescriptive guidance is provided for both analysts and operators.

The new system aims to reduce labour costs associated with manufacturing analytics, minimise issue response times, and improve process efficiency using the latest AI/ML technologies.

Data sources that can be continuously monitored include machine sensors, quality check stations, and surveillance cameras. The system uses a set of pluggable ML models and LLM agents, while agentic AI assistants can access corporate knowledge bases. These include operational playbooks and historical incident reports. The agentic AI assistants can interpret observed metrics, research issues, and identify opportunities for optimisation. Guidance can be tailored for manufacturing analysts, site managers, and equipment operators.

“Our experience with manufacturing clients shows that industrial data analytics and operationalisation are major pain points across the industry. Companies often build sophisticated custom solutions for supplier compliance analytics, process efficiency optimisation, and many other use cases,” said Ilya Katsov, CTO, Americas at Grid Dynamics. “The IoT Control Tower provides a standardised approach to solving these challenges, offering reference implementations for the most common use cases. Furthermore, we have integrated this platform with a range of specialised smart manufacturing components we developed, including visual process monitoring, visual quality control, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis, to deliver a comprehensive solution.”
