US petroleum refiner Delek US has implemented a set of industrial AI solutions from process manufacturing software specialist Flutura. The installation of Flutura’s Cerebra AI at Delek US’s Big Spring refinery in Texas is part of the company’s Refinery of the Future initiative.

Flutura and Delek US have signed a multi-year agreement to collaborate and expand the deployment into newer functional areas across Delek US’s four refineries and provide decision-making capabilities to its operations and reliability teams.

Delek’s refining segment owns and operates four inland refineries with a combined crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. The refineries are located in Tyler, Texas; Big Spring, Texas; Krotz Springs, Louisiana; and El Dorado, Arkansas.
