Taipei-based Cincoze, a provider of rugged edge computing, has introduced the MD-3000 series, a high-performance DIN-Rail computer designed for machine vision applications in smart manufacturing.

Cincoze’s MD-3000 series is designed for applications where real-time machine vision is critical, such as quality control on the manufacturing line.

The MD-3000 is powered by Intel Core Desktop-grade processors and features flexible expansion capabilities with over a dozen function modules. Its compact design measures 150 mm in height, allowing for easy integration into control cabinets or equipment enclosures. The unit also supports DIN-Rail mounting and features two patented designs: the Dynamic Thermal Mechanism and Smart OTP (Over Temperature Protection).

Applications of the MD-3000 include bin picking, appearance inspection, and dimensional measurement. In these use cases, the computer’s high-speed computing performance and low-latency response enable real-time image recognition, arm control, and data processing.

The MD-3000 meets multiple industrial standards including wide temperature (-40°C to 65°C) and voltage (9–48VDC) ranges, as well as electromagnetic compatibility standards. This ensures stable operation in harsh environments with vibration, high heat, and electromagnetic interference.
