Taiwan-based wireless specialist AsiaRF has developed a Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh module. The new technology, which has received Wi-Fi HaLow certification form the Wi-Fi Alliance, enhances AIoT and Wi-Fi HaLow network solutions.

As members of the Wi-Fi Alliance, AsiaRF were part of the creation of the new standards for Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh architecture.

Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh technology boosts coverage and stability. It employs frequency and modulation techniques to maintain reliable connections in challenging environments. It provides a robust mesh network, featuring automatic routing and backup paths, ensuring network resilience and seamless connectivity. IoT implementations at scale benefit from its stability over larger areas, with the technology supporting a broad spectrum of AIoT applications for large scale industrial and smart city installations.

The AsiaRF Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh Gateway is powered by Morse Micro’s Wi-Fi HaLow chips at the core of AsiaRF’s Wi-Fi HaLow module MM610X-001. This provides ultra-low power consumption and long-range capabilities for IoT applications.

The Wi-Fi HaLow module MM610X-001 complies with FCC, IC, CE, and Japan’s TELEC. AsiaRF’s range of Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh gateways include the Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh indoor gateway (ARFHL-AP), Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh portable gateway (ARFHL-UM), and Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh outdoor model (ARFHL-OD).

Paul Lai, CEO of AsiaRF, said: “The launch of our revolutionary Wi-Fi HaLow Mesh technology sets a new standard for AIoT connectivity. Our firm commitment to enhancing wireless infrastructure paves the way for innovative global partnerships.”
