Edge AI specialist Advantech has launched a family of validated edge appliances for network security and industrial private 5G deployments. The range is supported by Wind River’s eLxr Pro, and has been adopted by NYBSYS, a communications solutions provider with focus on optimised, compact solutions for Private 5G and Network Security. NYBSYS has adopted the solution as a framework for manufacturing, warehousing, campuses, retail and several other vertical markets.

Wind River’s eLxr Pro is a commercial enterprise Debian-based Linux offering for edge-to-cloud deployments across use cases for autonomous vehicles, aerospace, government, defence, energy, finance, medical, industrial automation, smart cities, and telecommunications.

Nybsys Private 5G Express (P5GE) is a Plug-and-Play Private 5G Network in a Box. It is a compact, secure, and power-optimised solution designed for rapid private cellular deployments.

P5GE uses Wind River eLxr Pro enterprise Linux. This allows a low footprint and faster boot time, along with Advantech SKY and FWA edge servers powered by Intel’s 4th and 6th Generation Processors.
