WISeKey subsidiary SEALSQ is introducing a new generation of semiconductors to enhance IoT security for medical devices. Clients including a US based healthcare equipment manufacturer are already using these microchips.

SEALSQ is a post-quantum semiconductor cybersecurity specialist and a subsidiary of cybersecurity, AI, blockchain and IoT provider WISeKey.

SEALSQ’s solution is designed to address the evolving needs of the IoT medical (IoMT) sector. The secure element can be tailored for different requirements including factory-set, over-the-air, at the wafer level, or on-package.

The solution incorporates private keys and X509 certificates, ensuring compatibility with established protocols such as MATTER, Wi-SUN, and OPC. The technology is designed to simplify authentication and commissioning, particularly for platforms such as Microsoft AZURE and AWS Clouds.

SEALSQ’s PKI platform, INeS, provides manufacturers with a user-friendly interface, allowing generation and management of compliant certificates throughout the device’s lifecycle.
